  1. I asked a close friend of mine to come read your posts today, she reminds me of you , by this I mean …if I need to take an item back to a shop as its faulty, I take this friend with me, she has a way of reducing the assistant to a blubbering wreck, ( sometimes I do have to walk away) she roared with laughter at your rants. We are now in danger of not getting enough study done because of our dedication to reading your blog…….it seems you have two fans, albeit two very sarcastic , caustic, embittered ones, with a good helping of wit …cheers

    • I can’t thank you (both) enough. I believe in the importance of quality over quantity. With sarcastic, sardonic, just plain old caustic fans such as yourself I want nothing and no-one else. Tell your friend that the truth hurts and there are precious few people who are willing to hear it. If the shop assistants get reduced to tears I’m sure it’s their faults for being able to dish it out, but not able to take it. Please drop by as often as you like and give suggestions if you don’t mind. I’ve been doing lots of the photo things lately because there are some amazing street art in my current area but if there’s anything of particular interest to you shoot me a line. Cheers

  2. The ONLY reason they get reduced to quivering wrecks is if they can’t do their jobs and if they try telling me I’m wrong or by using a condescending tone ….(ooo, now that’s a bad mistake). I have found that many are so incompetent at their jobs I am surprised they are left to their own devices and do not have continual supervision and someone to wipe the drool from their mouths. That’s the only time I get a little ……….um, cross.

Anyway, I have enjoyed reading your rants which are basically about the loss of common bloody sense to my mind, small though it may be.

With respect from the above mentioned friend of the frustrated artist………………….. and I haven’t done that to anyone for AGES……….. Oh, I did. A couple of days ago.

    • I’m sure they deserved it. Allowing the slow to waddle amuck (they don’t actually run amuck … their minds aren’t fast enough) is a social tragedy. I’m glad the world has people like you to nudge them back into place with a pick fork. All the best. Cheers
